Experience the new Sci-Fi and Fantasy Collection Just For Girls!

The Killarney Public Library has recently designed a Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy Collection called Just For You! Just For You is a collection made just for girls!

This amazing collection features great stories either written by women or for women. Each item has been hand selected for those bold young women who dare to go on an epic journey to save a world from darkness, have the courage to slay a monsterous dragon, venture into a faerie realm, or fall in love with a dangerous vampire!


Along with books and audiobooks on CD we also have:

• Playaways- The Twilight Saga and Kristin Cashore's Graceling and Fire
• Magazines- Discovery for Girls, Teen Voices, Voice for Youth Advocates, American Girl, and A Girl's World.
• Electronic resources available on our website to download to your computer, iPhone, iPod, or e-reader- The Hunger Games Trilogy
• A database to help you with your school projects and research -EBSCO's Student Research Center
• And even popular games about your favorite books that you can check out!

To celebrate our new Just For You collection we will be launching a number of activties including:

• A girl's only book club!
• Homework help and tutorials on using databases!
• Movie Nights-watch some of your favorite books made into movies!
